Getting there: stations, port and airports

Andorra has no airport and no railway, so every trip starts somewhere in Catalonia. We pick you up at Barcelona-El Prat, Girona and Reus airports, at Barcelona Sants station, at the cruise port of Barcelona, at Lleida-Pirineus high-speed station or in Girona city, and drive you to the door of your hotel in Andorra.

If you are still deciding how to travel, start with how to get to Andorra, the distances and driving times from each point and the truth about Andorra’s airport.

Planner

What time will you reach your hotel?

Tell us when you land and where you are going. We tell you when you will leave the airport and the window in which you arrive, allowing for the Cadí route, the border and the day’s traffic.

Estimated arrival

15:40 – 16:25

  • Driving: 163 to 187 min (192 km).
  • Border and traffic margin: 0–15 min.

An estimate based on driving times without traffic plus a careful margin. Not official data: no public source publishes waiting times at the Andorran border.

What to do in Andorra outside the ski season

Most visitors outside winter come for a few days of shopping in Andorra la Vella and Escaldes, often combined with an afternoon at the Caldea thermal spa. From June to September, the valleys fill with hikers heading for the lakes and the highest peaks: see our summer guide.

The calendar of public holidays and festivals helps you choose dates and avoid the busiest days at the border. And if you travel for work, our page on business trips to Andorra explains how we organise transfers with an invoice for your company.

Going home: back to Catalonia

We also drive in the other direction, always towards Catalonia: from your hotel in Andorra to Barcelona city, Sants or the port, to Girona or Reus airports and to Barcelona-El Prat Airport. Journeys within Andorra and journeys to France are not part of our service.

Coming to ski?

For lift passes, the ski season calendar, equipment hire and resort-by-resort transfers, our sister site Andorra Ski Transfers has the full guides. Here you will find the routes to Soldeu, Pas de la Casa and Arinsal and Pal.
