Where Caldea is
Caldea stands in Escaldes-Engordany, the parish that joins Andorra la Vella along the valley, and uses the thermal water of Escaldes. Its glass spire is visible from the main road. It is about 200 km from Barcelona, around three hours by road.

Before you go: tickets, ages and hours
Caldea has different areas and tickets, and some are for adults only: the Inúu area, for example, is reserved for over-16s. Opening hours change by season and on public holidays, and tickets for busy dates sell out. Check the current hours and conditions on the official Caldea website and buy your tickets before travelling.
If you plan a day at the spa on arrival, book a pick-up time that leaves you enough margin: the drive is long and the border can add time on Saturdays and bank holidays.
