Pick-up at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2

Barcelona Airport has two terminals several kilometres apart, so it helps to know which one you are landing at. When you book, you give us your flight number; with it we know the terminal and the real arrival time, and your driver waits at the arrivals exit of that terminal with a name sign.

If your flight lands early or late, you do not need to tell us: we track it in real time and move the pick-up. You get 60 minutes of free waiting from the actual landing time, which is plenty to clear passport control if you arrive from outside Schengen and collect your suitcases or ski bag from the oversized baggage belt.

Planner

What time will you reach your hotel?

Tell us when you land and where you are going. We tell you when you will leave the airport and the window in which you arrive, allowing for the Cadí route, the border and the day’s traffic.

Estimated arrival

16:30 – 17:15

  • Pick-up around 13:45: about 45 min to get out of the airport (we wait 60 min free of charge).
  • Driving: 169 to 194 min (200 km).
  • Border and traffic margin: 0–15 min.

Distances and times from Barcelona airport via the Cadí tunnel (OSRM, without traffic). Approximate altitude of each village.

From the airport to your door in Andorra

From El Prat, your driver takes the motorway towards Manresa and climbs the C-16 to the Cadí tunnel, or follows the C-14 via Ponts and Organyà when traffic or weather make it the better choice. Both routes reach La Seu d’Urgell and, a few kilometres later, the La Farga de Moles border crossing. The choice is made on the day, based on the real state of the road.

Once in Andorra, the route depends on where you are staying. Andorra la Vella and Escaldes are about 200 km from the airport, under three hours without traffic. Arinsal and Pal, in La Massana, are about 210 km away. Soldeu and El Tarter, about 219 km along the CG-2. Pas de la Casa, the furthest point, about 228 km. We drop you at the door of your hotel or apartment, not at a bus stop.

Late arrivals and night flights

Many ski-season flights land in the late afternoon or at night, when there are no direct buses left. We answer 24 hours a day: book with your flight’s arrival time, even in the small hours, and your driver will be there. If you would like a quick stop on the way for water or something to eat, just tell us when booking.

Driving up to the mountains at night has one advantage: less traffic leaving Barcelona and at the border. The final part, inside Andorra, is taken calmly, because the valley roads are winding and in winter there can be snow on the verges.

Which vehicle you get

When you choose your route in the search box, you see the available categories with their seats, luggage capacity and the fixed price of each. A couple with two suitcases travels comfortably in a saloon; a family with ski bags or a group of friends needs a van. Each vehicle carries up to 8 passengers; groups of more than 8 travel in several vehicles that leave together.

Always enter the real number of passengers, suitcases and ski bags. That way we assign a vehicle where everything fits and the price does not change at the airport.

The border

Entering Andorra and coming back: what to know

Andorra is not in the European Union: there is a customs post on the CG-1 (Riu Runer, 848 m), between La Seu d’Urgell and Sant Julià de Lòria. Going in is usually quick; coming back, there are queues on Sunday afternoons and at the end of long weekends.

Going in

  • A valid ID card or passport for every passenger, children included.
  • If you need a Schengen visa, it must be double or multiple entry: you re-enter the EU on the way back.
  • Minors travelling without their parents: their own document and a signed authorisation.
  • From 1 November to 15 May, winter equipment is compulsory on every road in Andorra; with snow, colour phases set speed limits.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the driver meet me at Barcelona Airport?

At the arrivals exit of your terminal, T1 or T2, holding a sign with your name. If you cannot find your driver, do not leave: call or message us and we will put you in touch straight away.

What if I miss a connection and arrive on another flight?

Message or call us with the new flight number as soon as you know it. We reschedule the pick-up subject to availability; free waiting counts from the actual landing time.

Can I book a transfer for the same day?

Yes, subject to availability. The earlier you book, the more certain you are to get the vehicle you need, especially on bank holidays and at Christmas.

How long is the drive from Barcelona Airport to Andorra?

About 2 h 50 to Andorra la Vella without traffic, a little over three hours to Soldeu and about three and a half hours to Pas de la Casa. With snow or a queue at the border, allow some extra time.

What about getting back to the airport?

Yes. Book the return from Andorra to El Prat (or to Barcelona city, Girona or Reus) in the same search box: just swap pick-up and drop-off. Your driver collects you at the door of your hotel or apartment.
