Why Lleida
Lleida-Pirineus is on the high-speed line between Madrid and Barcelona. From Lleida to Andorra la Vella it is about 150 km by road, roughly two and a half hours without traffic, so for travellers coming from Madrid, Zaragoza or the west it saves the detour through Barcelona.
The route heads north via Balaguer and Ponts and then climbs the C-14 along the Segre valley, through the Organyà gorge, to La Seu d’Urgell and the La Farga de Moles border crossing.
